When it comes to eyeshadow, neutral tones are where I feel safest. If I'm honest, I own a ridiculous amount of shades that look extremely alike, but continue to buy more. I was given the GOSH Smokey Eyes Palette in Plum recently as a little present from my Mum. It's definitely not the type of palette i would go for myself, but I'm so glad I ended up with it!

The palette is a beautiful collection of shimmery neutral & purple shadows. Although shimmery, there are no large chunks of glitter and all four apply smoothly. The eyeshadows are nicely pigmented, blend well and are extremely soft. If I'm honest, they are slightly too soft, meaning that you do get a little fall out when applied. This isn't a huge problem, it just means that I apply the shadows before my foundation.

The packaging is simple but effective. I have found the clasp to be a little hard to open at times, but at least I know it's secure! The palette comes with a transparent sheet that shows you where to apply each shade on the eye. If I'm honest, I threw this out straight away. But I do imagine it would be good for someone beginning with makeup.

I am extremely pleased that I gave this palette a try, it's perfect for creating a subtle purple look. Although slightly out of my comfort zone, I absolutely love it and am extremely pleased I gave it a try. It's definitely made me want to try the other shades GOSH has to offer!

I placed a Freedom Makeup London order as soon as the website went live. I absolutely love everything I own from Makeup Revolution so had high hopes! I ordered seven out of the eight Pro 12 Eyeshadow Palettes, for just £4 each I couldn't resist. Although they are all absolutely beautiful, the one I was most excited for was ROMANCE AND JEWELS. I loved the obvious similarity to the NARSissist Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow Palette, but if I'm honest, it was the mix of different shades that drew me in.

This obviously isn't a full review - I only received the palette yesterday! But after wearing it last night and all of today at placement, it's safe to say I'm in love. I'm a student nurse so obviously can't wear anything too dramatic on a day to day basis. So, I used the 1st row to create a subtle but extremely pretty golden look. Last night however, I was a little more adventurous! I used the 4th shade on the 1st row all over the lid and the 4th shade on the 2nd row in the crease to create an absolutely beautiful purple smokey eye.

The shades are extremely soft, blend effortlessly and have no fall out. I never expected to say this, but I already prefer these eyeshadows to my Makeup Revolution ones. They feel much more luxurious. The packaging is pretty simple - black plastic casing with a clear lid. Although nothing special, I do like the clear lid as it helps to see which palette is which - something that helps when you have an embarrassingly large makeup collection. The palette also comes with a foam applicator, I never use these and if I'm honest have already threw this away.

So, although no a full review, I desperately urge you to order this palette, you will not regret it!

Rosy Almond looks pretty ordinary in the pan. However when applied, it's the most beautiful light, champagne eyeshadow with a slightly pink, but very pretty shimmer - I love it. Just recently, I've been applying Rosy Almond as a highlighter. If I'm honest, I'm not sure how this all started as I own a ridiculous amount of highlighters. But, I'm extremely happy it did The eyeshadow has very fine specs of golden shimmer particles that aren't all that obvious when applied, but definitely helps to illuminate the skin. I've found that my illness has left my skin looking extremely dull, so any product that helps to brighten my complexion is a winner in my eyes.

The Colour Sphere Eyeshadows are some of my absolute favourite Kiko products. There are a huge amount of shades to choose from - I'd also recommend: Golden Bronze Special FX, Burnt Umber and Violet Black Melange! The packaging is simple but effective. It feels sturdy enough to protect the product, but also allows you to see which shade is which - something that has been very helpful to me when in a rush!

I'd definitely recommend trying the Colour Sphere Eyeshadows, especially in the shade Rosy Almond. For just £5.90, it's an absolute bargain!
